Caring For Our Community

We take pride in doing the right thing - for our client/members, employees, agents and the communities we serve.  That commitment starts at the top and carries through our organization.  Throughout the year, Farm Bureau employees are actively involved in company-sponsored outreach and volunteer activities.

Why Farm Bureau Volunteers

Our employees are proud to work for an insurance company that values the importance of volunteering in the community. We’re honored to support the United Way of Central Iowa. Other organizations we actively support include Children & Families of Iowa, American Heart Association, Variety (A Children’s Charity), and Special Olympics. We also host a Giving Garden at the home office in West Des Moines, IA and donate the fresh produce grown on premises to the Food Bank of Central Iowa.

Volunteer Time Off

Supporting our communities extends beyond financial support. We believe so strongly in the benefits of volunteering and community involvement that we give each of our employees eight hours of Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to use every year. This time allows them to give back to the communities where they live and work while volunteering for organization that mean something to them personally.

Community involvement is in our DNA. If an employee is looking to get involved, we provide a wide range of opportunities. If this interests you, search for current job opportunities today, or join our Talent Network.
