Employee Resource Groups at Farm Bureau Financial Services

At Farm Bureau, we support our employees in a variety of ways. One being through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). ERGs are voluntary groups made available to all employees. They offer opportunities to network internally, explore leadership opportunities and interests. All groups are employee-led, giving them the opportunity to work as a team to expand their networks and spread their purposes.

Women’s Inclusive Network (WINs) – est. 2008

The Women’s Inclusive Network is the longest-running Employee Resource Group at Farm Bureau. Since the beginning, the purpose of WINs has been to be an inclusive network led by strong women that supports and encourages all employees by connecting employees to opportunities that will help them grow personally and professionally.

Early Career Professionals Network (ECPN) – est. 2018

Navigating a career can be difficult, that’s why we started our ECPN group. ECPN allows a chance for early career professionals around the company to connect with each other as well as other colleagues of all experience levels and backgrounds through professional growth, networking, social, and volunteer opportunities.

Multicultural Network Connections – est. 2022

We all bring a unique perspective and background to work with us and the Multicultural Network Connections group gives us a way to share those experiences with one another. This group supports our high performing culture by valuing employees’ unique differences and providing a place where all employee voices can be heard. All members will share their cultural knowledge and ideas, while providing relevant opportunities that help improve the company’s overall cultural competence.

Veterans Employee Resource Group – est. 2022

Our employee veterans want to support and be there for other veterans as they adjust to civilian employment. This group was formed to foster networking, professional development, mentoring and volunteer opportunities with a focus on the recruitment, retention, learning, and advancement of veterans within our company.

Abilities Abound – est. 2022

The sense of community is strong at Farm Bureau, and it is important that our community is one focused around being kind, compassionate, and safe for all employees. The Abilities Abound group was formed to create awareness and a supportive environment for employees with visible and invisible physical and mental challenges. By creating awareness, helping breakdown barriers, and providing resources for physical and mental challenges, this group will help in creating an environment where everyone feels like they belong.
