Daniel Greteman Named Chief Information Officer

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Jan. 21, 2015) — Daniel Greteman has been named Chief Information Officer (CIO) of FBL Financial Group, Inc. and its affiliated insurance companies which go to market as Farm Bureau Financial Services. In this role, Greteman will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s IT efforts, replacing Raymond W. Wasilewski, who was named the company’s Chief Operating Officer – Life Companies, in July 2014.

Prior to joining the companies, Greteman was Senior Vice President and CIO for Nationwide Insurance and had been with the company for more than 10 years, serving in several executive positions. Greteman’s early career was spent at Accenture, a global management, consulting, technology services and outsourcing company in their Communications & High Tech division where he became a partner in 2000. Greteman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.
