WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (May 17, 2013) – Farm Bureau Property & Casualty Insurance Company, a company of Farm Bureau Financial Services, has ranked sixth in a national auto insurance satisfaction survey.
The survey, conducted by a leading consumer ratings publication, polled more than 29,000 subscribers who filed an auto-loss claim between January 2009 and June 2012. Respondents rated companies based on their satisfaction with promptness of response, claims problems, dollar damage estimates and satisfaction with premiums. Farm Bureau Property & Casualty Insurance Company ranked ahead of State Farm, American Family, Travelers, Nationwide, Farmers Insurance, Allstate and others in the survey.

This is the third time in recent years Farm Bureau Property & Casualty Insurance Company has ranked high on insurance satisfaction surveys conducted by this consumer ratings publication. The company ranked fourth in the publication’s 2008 and 2011 homeowner’s insurance surveys, each of which polled more than 10,000 of the magazine’s subscribers who had filed a claim. Farm Bureau Property & Casualty Insurance Company ranked ahead of American Family, State Farm, Nationwide, Farmers Insurance and Allstate in both surveys.
