Roof Coverage Shouldn’t Be a Mystery
No Guesswork. Just Coverage You Can Feel Confident In.
Roof replacement is one of the most expensive home repairs a homeowner may face, yet many people don’t know how their insurance policy would actually pay for wind or hail roof damage until a claim happens.
If you’re unsure how your roof is covered after wind or hail, that uncertainty can be costly.
We help you:
- Understand your policy details
- Feel confident in how your claim may be settled
- Make informed decisions about your coverage
At Farm Bureau Financial Services, we believe roof coverage should be clear, upfront, and easy to understand, so you know what to expect before a storm, not after.

Understanding Roof Coverage
Knowing how your roof is covered starts with understanding two common settlement methods, Actual Cash Value (ACV) and Replacement Cost Coverage (RCV).
See What We Would Pay for Wind or Hail Storm Damage to Your Roof
We take transparency one step further by providing a roof payment schedule1 that shows how roof claims caused by wind or hail are paid based on roof age and materials. A roof payment schedule is used by many providers to outline how roof claim payouts change as a roof ages, how different materials are factored, and to set expectations in the event your roof does receive storm damage.
