WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Aug. 4, 2014) — Farm Bureau Financial Services (FBFS) has three reasons you should visit the FBFS booth at the IDEAg Minnestoa Farmfest show scheduled August 5-7 at the Gilfillan Estate in Redwood Falls, MN. Attendees who visit the FBFS booth in the Wick Building can:
1. Cast their vote for their favorite Minnesota nonprofit organization,
2. Pick up a free farm/ranch inventory booklet; and
3. Register to win a Carhartt jacket.
Farmfest visitors will have the opportunity to show their support for Minnesota 4-H Foundation, Minnesota FFA Foundation or Second Harvest Heartland by casting a vote with a corn kernel. All three organizations will receive a participation award from FBFS.
FBFS booth visitors can also register to win a Carhartt jacket valued up to $150 and pick up a free farm and ranch inventory booklet. The booklet is a reminder that post-fall harvest is the perfect time to take a moment to inventory machinery, supplies, tools and livestock. It’s important for farmers and ranchers to conduct an annual assessment of newly purchased items that need to be insured and discarded items that should be removed.
IDEAg Minnesota Farmfest is the number one agriculture trade show in the state and in its 33rd year, the show continues to connect the midwest’s top farmers with more than 500 local and leading companies. The show features three days of networking, educational sessions and political forums. To learn more about the trade show, visit www.IDEAgGroup.com/Farmfest.
