At Farm Bureau, we encourage employees to be life-long learners. Our continued education opportunities make us an employer of choice. We offer a blend of online and face-to-face classes that cover a wide range of topics. Our tuition reimbursement program pays 75% of the cost of continuing education upon successful completion of pre-approved college courses.

Each month employees can choose to spend time with senior management. Over coffee and a donut, employees meet with company leaders to ask questions. Buddy lunches provide the opportunity to get to know other employees and management in a more casual setting.

Health and Wellness

Health and wellness is important to our employees, so it’s important to us. At some locations, including our West Des Moines home office, we offer on-site wellness facilities. Employees, their spouse and children over 13 can use the indoor track and workout equipment at no charge. Wellness classes, fitness programs and personal fitness counseling from trained professionals are also available.

On-site Childcare

Farm Bureau is committed to providing a great work-life balance for employees. On-site childcare is available at our West Des Moines, IA, and Lincoln, NE, locations. The facilities are open to the public but families of employees get priority. Learn more about our on-site childcare facilities, Generation Next and Ivy League Childcare.

On-site Dining Center

There are plenty of restaurants near our offices, but many employees enjoy our full-service dining center. At our West Des Moines, IA, and Manhattan, KS, locations, the dining centers offer a wide selection of delicious options for breakfast and lunch.

Add free parking, business casual dress and casual Fridays and we think you’ll agree it’s an impressive list of perks.
