Homeowners Insurance

Your home is more than the structure where you sleep at night; it’s where your family’s story begins. It’s also your biggest investment, which is why it is crucial to have the right coverage. Homeowners insurance protects your home and property from loss from natural disasters to vandals and everyday mishaps. We offer peace of mind with replacement cost coverage, personal property insurance and more.

Notable Coverages

Guaranteed Replacement Cost Coverage

When you have widespread damage to your home, you want to know that the cost to repair and replace is covered. This coverage pays up to 125 percent of the limit of insurance on your home – protection that matters when you need it most.

Air Conditioners, Water Heaters and More

Home systems – furnace, air conditioner, hot water heater and other appliances – tend to break down at the most inconvenient times. Our Residential Equipment Breakdown Coverage can protect you from the high cost of replacement for these systems as well as home electronic systems such as stereos, televisions and computers.

Other Buildings on Your Property

Unattached garages, storage sheds and other surrounding buildings on your property are subject to a $2,500 limit on your core policy. If the value of your buildings (and the contents inside) exceed this amount, you can protect your investment by adding additional coverage to your homeowners insurance.

Personal Property Insurance

Your most valuable possessions can be found under your roof. Make sure you have the added coverage you need for things like cameras, jewelry, electronics and more.

Another Layer of Protection

As homeowners know, you are responsible not only for your home, but what happens on your property. Choose to add a layer of protection with umbrella insurance, a coverage enhancement that provides additional liability when the limits of your homeowners insurance are exhausted.

Ways to Save

The right coverage shouldn’t break the bank. We work hard to keep your insurance affordable, and we offer client/members several discounts. Check our discounts page to see what discounts you may qualify for.

SuperCheck® Your Insurance

Life moves fast: make sure your coverage is keeping up! Your Farm Bureau agent will do an annual SuperCheck to ensure you have the coverage you need and receive all the discounts you qualify for.

Your local Farm Bureau agent is your one stop shop – Whether you need homeowners insurance or a competitive quote, have a policy question, want to save money with discounts, or need to file a claim, your agent is the only call you need to make. Your agent can offer personalized service and support that algorithms and computer programs just can’t.

It’s your future. Let’s protect it.®
