Term Life Insurance

Term Life Insurance on Your Terms

Overview

  • Affordable Protection

If the current chapter in your life includes buying a home, raising a family or building a business, term life insurance might be the best option for you. It’s generally less expensive than whole life insurance, making it a popular choice for individuals and families in the prime of life.

  • You Choose the Length of Your Term

Term life insurance is purchased for a predetermined length of time – often 10, 15, 20 or 30 years. You’ll also have opportunities along the way to convert your term policy to whole life insurance, giving you coverage with no expiration date.

  • Coverage Options to Fit Your Needs

Whether you’re looking for a policy that will replace your income for your family, pay off your mortgage and send your children to college, a policy that will return your premium at the end of the term, or simple coverage for your children or grandchildren, we’ve got you covered.

Coverage

As your life changes, so do your insurance needs. Your Farm Bureau agent offers several term life insurance options to help you protect your family or business for the specific length of time you choose.

  • Choice Term

Our most popular term life insurance product, Choice Term provides customized and affordable protection for a specific period of time. You can chose protection for 10, 15, 20 or 30 years, or choose to remain protected for the duration of your working life with the To Age 65 option.

  • Increasing Term

Our Increasing Term product is designed for people who know it’s important to have coverage now, but also know they’ll need more coverage in the future — like expanding your family, keeping pace with higher salaries and more. The coverage period for this policy is 20 years. With Increasing Term, you’ll be allowed to increase coverage up to double the face value of your policy over the first five years without having to go through the underwriting process again.

  • Return of Premium Term

With Return of Premium insurance, you'll receive a full return of your base premiums if you outlive your policy's term. If your death occurs during the policy's term, your loved ones will have the financial protection they need.

  • Protection for Children

Life insurance is one of the greatest lifetime gifts you can give to your child or grandchild. Our First Step Children’s Life Insurance policy provides coverage for your children or grandchildren until the policy anniversary following their 25th birthday(s).
